Getting Things Done

Studies have shown that as few as 2 out of 100 people are able to get things done without supervision. They need someone else to watch over them or be accountable to in order to complete the job at hand.

Whether it’s two percent or twenty percent, we can all agree that the vast majority don’t take the initiative and cannot be depended upon to get the job done on their own.

The self starters who take responsibility for a task or project easily stand out in any organization. Everyone knows who they are. They solve the problems and overcome the challenges. And they stick with it until it’s done. They are exceptional simply because they consistently perform.

Action Point
Be the person who can get it done. Never let there be doubt that when you take on a project, you will see it through. You will achieve the objectives and complete them on time, every time.
