It’s true that sometimes things improve on their own. But by and large, our circumstances tend to deteriorate without an effort to improve them.
And many circumstances are beyond our control. What we CAN control is our attitude and response to those circumstances. Some people master this and some people never get it.
Becoming a better you is the very foundation of designing, creating and living your best life.
The biggest room in the world is the room for self-improvement. We can always get better. We can learn, adapt, adjust and start anew. The alternative is to give up, blame something else, be swept away and be battered against whatever seems to be in our way.
If you want things to change, you have to change. If you want your life to get better, you have to get better. If you want your business to grow and your relationships to become stronger you simply have to get better. There’s no other dependable way.
You can wait for the government to fix it, the economy to improve, your spouse to change, your job to get easier—but it’s not too likely is it?
What do you need to change? What do you have to get better at doing? What do you need to learn, master or acquire to create your best life?
