A few days ago, I had the privilege and honor to lead the first Diamond Club Coaching Call of 2006. We had people from 6 countries, 4 continents and 15 time zones.
We got to know one another a little, shared some goals, did some brainstorming and began to lay the groundwork for a year of exceptional achievement.
The 62 current members of Diamond Club 2006 have made a serious commitment to achieve their most important goals.
And I’m having the time of my life developing innovative ways to help these people create breakthroughs. I’ve never been more confident of the process for them or for the prospects of reaching my own goals.
Everything clicks in ’06!
Even if you’re not part of this group—and it’s still not too late to join us—I hope you’re clarifying, refining and beginning to achieve your goals.
The New Year is less than three weeks old. Already most people have abandoned their resolutions and given up on their goals. It’s very sad.
Don’t be like most people. Be one of the few who DO instead of the many who talk. Every day is a new day. Every day can be a fresh start. What we need to do is to begin again no matter what’s happened.
Coach Bobby Knight said, “The will to win is not nearly as important as the will to PREPARE to win.” I couldn’t agree more.
Write your goals down. Brian Tracy says you increase your chance for success by 1000 percent just by writing your goals down. Not a bad return.
However way you do it, get excited about your goals. Build your belief in your goals and in yourself. Set yourself up to win.
It's not only the achieving of your goals that will be the payoff. What you become in the process is the big win.
Stay connected with SuccessNet for tools, resources and encouragement.
My dedicated Diamond Club members are evaluating their goals and dreams. Next they'll determine which of these warrant their greatest attention by prioritizing them based upon their values, desires and needs.
We’ll be sharing our goals with our mastermind teams for additional clarification and harvesting new ideas on how best to accomplish them.
From there, we’ll form detailed plans of action to systematically and consistently make progress toward our goals.
When things break down or we run into roadblocks, we’ll have the support of our team to fall back upon. We’re able to overcome discouragement, because we’ve set ourselves up for winning.
Being purposeful is very fulfilling. I love what my friend Frank Lunn of KahunaPower says, “Live a life OF purpose ON purpose.”
Make it a great year—and a great life!
