Making a Difference
For the past four years, we’ve enjoyed sponsoring a young girl in the Commonwealth of Dominica. We call her our “daughter” and know that our financial contribution is making a difference in her life. We did lots of research, looking at many organizations that seemed to offer similar services, and we found the Christian Children’s Fund to ring truest for us. We highly recommend going to their site and “checking them out”.

Funny You Asked!
Tourists are naturally inquisitive creatures. Some CURIOUS questions they’ve asked:
* Is that the same moon we see in Vermont?
* How come all the war battles were fought in national parks?
* Are the Amish in season?
* If it rains will the fireworks be held inside?
* Is the horse manure on the square real?
* When do the caribou turn into moose?

News to Amuse
When a fully loaded tractor-trailer overturned near our small city, the local newspaper ran a photo of the rig and 48,000 pounds of lumber strewn across the roadway. The caption read: “How much wood can a wood truck chuck?”
