"It Takes Money To Make Money" is what my Dad always told me. And not too long ago, that was pretty much the way things were. The economy, primarily, operated on huge factories, cranking out consumer goods, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Getting into this game meant having access to huge amounts of investment capital. It was called the "Industrial Age" and it's OVER!

We are now entering the "Information Age". The primary operating capital is no longer money, but INFORMATION. The richest man on the planet is not some industrialist, but a creator and retailer of software which is nothing but a digitally packaged info-product.

Consider the unique nature of information. You have an idea and I have an idea. We sit down and share our ideas. Now, you have two ideas and I have two ideas. (1+1=4) That's the new math of the "Information Age", and if you're going to prosper in this economy, you had better master this concept.

Now, consider the wealth generating power of digitally packaged and delivered information. If your product is an e-book that can be downloaded or a pay-to-access website, then your profit is 100%... less your marketing costs and the costs of maintaining your website. If you own the rights to an info-product, one that has strong appeal in the marketplace, and you can deliver it digitally, it's like having your own (legal) money-printing operation.

Bill Gates is a perfect example of the wealth generating power of this strategy. He creates digital info-products that he allows others to use . . . for a fee. Master copies... licensed millions of times . . . is the formula that made him a multi-billionaire, at a very young age.

Successful musicians, song writers and authors all use this strategy to create their fortunes. And you can, too!

Not too long ago, this business was controlled by the big money. But, in the last ten years, the costs of the tools to create, manipulate and reproduce information have come down so dramatically that this opportunity is now within anyone's reach.

The birth of the Internet supplied the last piece of the puzzle . . . the distribution system. For only the cost of your computer, your research and a few bucks a month for a hosting service, you can create and distribute info-products to an information hungry world. What sells online?

You can find successful sites operating in each of these areas. My niche market of choice is the person who is online to find some way to use his computer to make money. Specific, detailed information is very much in demand and will continue to be for a lot of years to come.
