Is Your FICO Score What it Should Be? PDF Print E-mail
Written by Administrator

I checked my credit score recently as I typically do every few weeks. It's a good thing to keep track of. Your FICO score determines your interest rate and even the ability to get financing. It also can alert you to erroneous entries.

Most of the credit reporting services—of which I've tried several—are the same services repackaged by different companies. I've been disappointed by ones that claimed to offer reporting from Experion, Transunion and Equifax.

In some cases, they provided the report but not the FICO score. And in others, they gave the score from all three, but provided a full report on only one of the agencies.

The one I like the best so far is CreditCheckTotal.com as they provide all three reports AND scores for $19.95 per month.

Just paying your bills on time will not assure a high score. Credit capacity is king.

What many people don’t know is that your score can be adversely affected

by having credit cards that are close to their credit limit. Your score can often be increased by 30 or 40 points by paying down your cards so they are no longer near your limit. Sometimes even getting them down to 70-80% of your maximum available credit will help quite a bit. And your score will change quickly.

Of course, it's best to have the borrowing capacity on your cards without any debt at all and we certainly advocate that you reduce or eliminate unsecured debt as much as you can.

For some help in doing that, I recommend this free report by my friend Leo Quinn: Do You Make These Money Mistakes?

It's surprisingly simple and very easy to follow. It shows you how to finally get control of your debt—and get rid of it. You'll be imptressed how quickly it can be done.

Plus, I got Leo to give you all a $40 discount on his popular Take Back Your Paycheck.

The free report and the info on Leo's program is all here . . .

PS: The $40 discount will be available only through April 8, so grab it now.

Plus, anyone who gets this now will also get Leo's upcoming upgrade at no cost.

See all about it, here.
