In my over forty years of research, I’ve found that people who consistently achieve great things simply don’t have time for complaints. And conversely, those who seem to fall short of their full and unique potential seem to be much more tolerant of complaints—their own as well as others’.
Hardly anyone likes to be around a complainer. But most people tolerate it nonetheless.
But if you really want to get ahead, creating a complaint-free zone can go a long way toward keeping you focused on what you want instead of what you don’t.
Because that’s exactly what complaining does—it keeps you focused on problems rather than solutions.
The trick is to pivot from complaining about something to asking for what you truly want.
It’s mostly a matter of awareness and being committed to eliminating complaints from your life. Notice that you (or others) are complaining, and switch to asking for what you would like instead.
If you find yourself complaining about not having enough money, change the conversation to what you can do today to increase your income. Notice what you don’t want (not enough income) but get busy on what you can DO about it. Because complaining never really works.
And if earning more money is, in fact, one of your goals, I suggest you grab a very inexpensive eBook called 20 Ways to Make $100 a Day Online.
We read through this 247-page eBook and felt that the resources alone were worth the small asking price.
The income-generating ideas shared by the contributors helped us brainstorm solutions—to think “outside the box”.
