That Horrible Sound

roosterI awoke yesterday to something I’ve only heard twice in the last 5 months.

An alarm clock.

I didn’t even recognize it at first. But it’s one that gets louder the longer it goes off and the strange but annoying sound was unavoidable.

My wife, Dawn, had set it the night before so we could leave the house in time to get to Orlando for the Extreme Business Makeovers Conference. And since I don’t know how to set it, I also didn’t know how to shut it off.

Turns out neither did Dawn–at least in the dark. She ended up unplugging it.

You see, one of the benefits of having designed the life we live is having the freedom to sleep until we’re finished sleeping. At least 360 days a year or so.

Don’t get me wrong, we usually do get up early. It’s one of my most productive times for reading and writing. But we rarely have anything scheduled before 9 AM, so we are spared the rude awakenings of the electronic rooster.

Freedom is my number one core value. And I am grateful to wake up with the woman of my dreams, in a beautiful home in a nearly tropical paradise and do work I love doing.

I wish that for you, too. And I know that no matter what your current situation is, you can create your own freedom as well.

I know because I came from very difficult circumstances, had many failures and was disillusioned and discouraged often. But I never gave up. I continued to study the fundamentals of success.

I worked hard at getting clear, staying focused and taking consistent action.

I encourage you to do the same.

And if you’d like to take advantage of a very special package we’ve put together ON the Fundamentals of Success (at a substantial discount), I encourage you to grab one now.
