Make Every Day a Great Day

For a number of years, I've signed off my newsletters and my email messages with "Make it a Great Day."

I get a lot of favorable comments about it. It's a bit different than the ubiquitous and often insincere "Have a nice day."

The truth is, it's up to us to make it a great day.

It's a choice. We don't have control over everything that happens to us, but we do have control over how we respond to what happens.

Some days are greater than others, but every day really is a great day. As one person said, "Every day above ground is a good day."

We find what we're looking for. And if we look for what's wrong, we'll find things that are. On the other hand, if we look for what's good (or great) we'll find that, too. In doing so, you'll find your day more pleasant than you would otherwise.

We all want to be happy. And having a positive attitude goes a long way to how we feel. Beyond that, there are a number of things we can do to alter our state and experience more joy.

  • Look for the good in things.

  • Spend no time attending pity parties.

  • Be sure to laugh often. Look for the humor in every situation.

  • Resolve not to be a whiner.

  • Live with passion and do things with verve.

Attitude is a choice. So choose to be positive.

. . . . .

NOTE: we encourage you to check out a very unique product called, Make Every Day a Great Day!
